What are Rechargeable hearing aids?

Instead of removing the batteries themselves, you simply place your hearing aids onto their charging unit overnight, similar to how smartphones recharge. This means you will no longer need to struggle with changing batteries or worry about your hearing aids running out of charge during the day.

They are designed to make your life easier and hassle-free.

Rechargeable FAQs

  • Why Should You Consider Rechargeable Hearing Aids?

Generally, rechargeable hearing aid options are not much more expensive than the models that use traditional hearing aid batteries, so the cost of adoption is negligible. They offer real ease of use, you don’t need to consider changing batteries, you simply charge them and they work. The battery life on lithium-ion rechargeable hearing aids is excellent, it means even if you like to stream a lot of audio, they will last you the full day.

  • How Long Do Rechargeable Hearing Aids Last?

The hearing aids themselves should last for anything up to seven to ten years, the batteries are a slightly different thing. It is recommended that lithium-ion batteries are replaced every six years. In many of the hearing aids available, the batteries are sealed within the hearing aid and are usually removable only by the hearing aid manufacturer. The batteries will continue to function after the replacement period, they just might not deliver a full day’s worth of use any longer.
